Highlights of the North Omaha Political successes under the leadership of Preston Love Jr. include 2 awards in 2008(AK Sorority and Douglas county Dems); Campaign Manager for Candidate Ben Gray for Omaha City Council; led the North Omaha effort to stop the Recall effort against Mayor Suttle (South Omaha did maintain significant support, North Omaha was trending to not maintain, Ben Gray and the tireless work of the Voter Project members and countless volunteers under Preston’s leadership, North Omaha held and the recall failed.(2010)”
